Meetup group in The Woodlands

I have probably joined 5 meetup groups since I moved here to The Woodlands last november and all of them meet in Houston or farther south, so I decided to start my own Woodland Photography Group (Spring, TX) - Meetup.com so if anyone else is tired of driving to league city to say hi to some nice people check it out. Only requirment is you must be nice :-)

great group of people, I am right now riding with the Conroe Fire Dept for a program that Will Kennard has put together. I also belong to The Woodlands United Methodist camera club, Houston camera club, Houston Photoshop group, Houston Photography group, and more. The meetup groups seem to be a little more computer oriented and do things like virtual walks and I mentioned on Saturday that I was going to Galveston strand on Sunday and 13 people showed up the next day. I don't have that ability with the clubs. Maybe just not here long enough yet.

I don't jump in and participate too much in the discussions here, but more or less use it as a learning tool for the amatuer that I am. I live in Conroe and would be interested in meeting up somewhere close to home. Also, my husband is a fire fighter for South Montgomery County (Budde Rd, Station #1) and would be interested in riding with the FF session if possible?

BTW: I can be nice if I have to! :)

Hi, I hope to find some stuff to do in the Conroe area so I guess you need to watch the group to see what is coming up. As for the fire dept, that you have to be a member of the Woodlands photo club, here is there site index and I think they were invited to work with Conroe and The Woodlands fire dept right now.
