Not much help here, but I remember reading (I believe in the N & W forum) that someone found some equipment at the Baytown Eagle site and aked for the owner to call & identify it. But I also can't locate it.

Popawalker (Steve) listed a "Found Equipment" thread in the Nature & Wildlife thread, but did not say what the equipment was---asked the person to PM and tell where and what the equipment was that was lost.

thanks a ton for all of the help guys... Steve responded and said he's in contact with her and she's described the items perfectly so they're gonna meet up and do the exchange...

she was very excited when i told her you guys located the thread...

she said she lost it and then went back a week later and was asking some photogs at that locale if they had seen or heard anything, then one photog there referred her to TPF saying that he/she saw a similar thread posted here that someone found a similar setup.

she spoke to Houston Camera Exchange which gave her my phone number and within 2 hours of posting the thread the tripod/head set had been found and arrangements to pick it up were set. Nice!

thanks again
