Donno whats going on. - 02-27-2010, 06:55 AM

I wake up around 6:30am or so to a loud bang and i'm like.. Don't know if it was a gunshot or not. I look out side and see a cop car pull up.. I go outside and I see SWAT lined up on the staircase on the other side of my building telling the guy to answer the phone. This is sorta crazy.. Got it on the scanner now. He's going to give up when his dad shows up.

Well, it's all over. Asked about what I heard and the cops said they were the flash-bangs. Don't think anyone got hurt. Just kinda crazy waking up to a SWAT situation.

Yeah, I thought about grabbing the camera, but since I didn't know much of the situation I decided to stay inside and listen over the scanner. Didn't want to go take a pic with my flash going off then me getting in some sort of trouble. Though at 730am or so when it was over, I could of got some pics of the SWAT team.

Got to hear the start of the SWAT going in. Got the "move in" ok call and clearing rooms.

My understanding is guy must of had a break down or something.

I don't blame you. With those guys primed and the adrenaline flowing, it wouldn't be a good idea to pop out of a doorway with a flash. They might answer with one of their own, and high-speed lead poisoning would definitely be a poor start for your day.
