I was in court at the local Justice of the Peace Small claims court for a Chapter 47 hearing a while back, and there was a case ahead of us. Two women were arguing over some bills and things. Things were going fine until the plaintiff jumps up and says to the judge; "I also want her to pay me $46 for the vibrator I bought her". The Judge issues a sort of strangled "what?" At that point the plaintiff tells the court, that she bought her a deluxe vibrator WITH attachments, and it cost her $46 and she wanted her money back. The Judge, myself, pretty much everyone else in the courtroom is beet red, and looking for a way out. The female Bailiff, flees the courtroom in a coughing fit, crimson in the face. The Judge, being cursed by a malevolent being, asks: "What is this thing?" At which point, the plaintiff reaches into her purse and pulls out....the Device. The judge attempting to head this off, gets cut off when the plaintiff states she uses it for "female stress relief", and "would he like to see the attachments?"
At that moment, he calls for a recess, and flees the courtroom. The bailiff will not come back in. I can't leave, since I have evidence with me. The item in question was probably 12-14" in length, white in color, and she pulled....attachements out of her pursue that looked like things that had been painfully pulled out by the roots. These things looked like they could cause serious damage. At which point the two women started yelling at each other, and being the only cop there, since the bailiff was hors de combat with the giggles, I had to attempt to maintain order. I finally was able to get the plaintiff to stop waving this thing like a samurai sword, get the judge back in so he could award her the $46 for the item which had been declared a "stress reliever". When both women left the courtroom, there was a massive sigh of relief.

The Judge later said that it was a good thing no one was hit by the....device, or they would really have been d*ckslapped.....

I nominate this story for "This Week's Sign That The Apocalypse Is Upon Us"
An idea stolen from Sports Illustrated, of course.
Also- they say everything has a price. Apparently this woman's dignity goes for $46.

Did the judge check her dental records for chipped teeth?
