I listened to the audio book With the Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa, one of the books the series is based upon. Stephen Ambrose called it the best WWII memoir. I downloaded Helmet For My Pillow on Audible last week, the other main book the series was based on. I highly recommend them both. --------------------------- soli Deo gloria |

Looking forward to the DVD, too. I LOVE LOVE LOVE BoB, rewatch it all the time. This will be just as interesting, I'm sure, especially since I'm more familiar with the ETO. |

BoB was amazing. I'm such a WWII fan. This looks like it's going to be great as well. I remember seeing BoB when it was re-ran on the History channel. Great stuff. I think they've run what, 3 episodes already? |
