Who's this Jusselin kid?

;)

Weighing ~245 at 6'2", I need to lose ~25-30lbs. Up until 15 months ago I was a bodybuilder for >30 years. Finances have been a real struggle over the last couple years waiting for Medicare certification and we cut all unnecessary expenses, including our gym memberships. After training 3-5 times a week since 1979 I haven't been in the gym in 16months. It's time to get back in a shape not confused with 'round'.

Sign me up! I remember what dieting and hard work is about

Jusselin is my nephew, for those that don't know... we're proud of him

A sphere is the most natural shape in the universe. Equal pressure on all sides from the inside and outside.

I aspire to be as natural as possible.

Tom, you crack me up.

I'd be game. No way I'm disclosing my weight publicly, but let's just say I need to lose plenty.

In November, 2007 I was 268. In November of 2009 I was 168. Right now, with the Winter doldrums, I'm back up at 178 (actually got up to 182, but I'm finally losing again. It'll go even fast when my calf finally heals I can start running again).

Do we have to post those awful before pictures? You know where we stand in front of some dull wall with horrendous lighting in some soccer shorts???

But just think, Tom, you'd be able to increase your walking distance from car to photographic subject to more than 100 feet.

I love the idea, been looking for something to motivate me.

Wife has talked me into WW, going to the gym a couple times a week…so far I have done well at maintaining a crazy weight and roundness.

This is a great idea!

I am already on my 3rd round of P90X. The first round I lost 14% body fat and 33 pounds (I also put on a considerable amount of muscle)...
They have these programs on craigslist all the time for about 40 dollars which is a big difference from the 120 plus tax plus shipping...

This is a real program with real results...not for the faint hearted or those that think weight loss is a one time routine. (you get where you want to be and then done) Nope, its a lifestlye. I learned this after hurting my back.

Before and after pics (point and shoot style). :

At 206.4 lbs day 1
Name: day 1 (4).jpg
Views: 249
Size: 270.1 KB

At 176.0 lbs day 90
Name: day 90 (6).jpg
Views: 237
Size: 266.4 KB

At 171.8 lbs day 120
Name: day 120 (4).jpg
Views: 243
Size: 287.8 KB

I hurt my back after the second round and tried to get back into it but my back wasn't feeling it for about four months. I gained a lot of the weight back and now I am on my sixth week of the program (again)...watching my calorie intake isn't as hard as I thought it would be.

The best part of this program is that you FEEL HEALTHY as well as strong.
