doggie lovers read me!

my son has had breathing problems all winter. we finally figured out he is allergic to our dog.

so i am looking for a good home for my little Chihuahua. Shes really cute - about 6lbs, 14 months old, house broken, is slightly trained (she knows come, dance, and stop). Dance is really funny. If you sing to her she dances like a circus dog on her hind legs until you stop singing.

she's been around another dog for the past few months and has been OK. my dad has been watching her for me. we took her to him when my son was hospitalized. my dad recently had a stroke and cant watch her any more. she's a lap dog and really needs attention and a good home.

she has her shots and she's getting fixed next week. she has papers. i dont know if they are real or not. i didnt really care. shes not akc. it was some other kc. (not kfc).

PM me if you want more info. ive had a tragic winter. id really like to see her with someone who will mush on her and love having her around.

Oh thats awefull, It must be heartbreaking. I hope your boy gets well soon. I would take it but I have 2 scotties and not sure how they would do?

Ugh, if it wasn't so darn expensive for me with my own dog when I go out of town for weddings and have to keep her in the pet hotel, then I would take on another one. My puppy LOVES other dogs and my kids LOVE dogs, too. But her pet hotel bill and doggie day camp on the days I have bridals/weddings etc. are just a killer.

aww, i hope your son gets better! I have a boxer, she would not accept another dog. Im sorry!! my weenie dog would prolly love her, but we live in a travel trailer and a 60 lb. dog and 2 adults arent cuttin it as it is...keep informed, i'll ask around here..

Aw, man. I'm tempted. Hubby had a little 3.5 lb longcoat chi, and was devastated when she died back in '04. He would love to have another one, but he's not going to be back at home for the long term for another year. Plus, Angus' nickname is Goose, and that would get confusing. Does she get along with big dogs okay?

We have chihuahua experience, too. Like Val, ours was a long-haired chi (tri-color, he looked like a fuzzy Goose). So tempting! But she'd have to pass the Max test, and our budget is a little tight right now. Argh!
