FotoFest 2010 Houston, TX

Opening is tomorrow night.
There will be a opening night party @ FotoFest Headquarters 1113 Vine Street 77002 from 8p-midnight.
Lots of fantastic photography and you will meet photographers and people who love photography.
Stop by 1204 Nance Street (about a couple of blocks away) to see the FKP Photo Group's FotoFest 2010 display.
Next door to that will be the display at M-Architects Studio.

This show runs through April 25th. While much of the activity is at the beginning, there are a lot of thing scattered troughout the schedule.
Check their website for the calender of events and exhibitions.

Is it pretty much a display of people's work? I was at Katz's Deli earlier tonight and the waiter was telling me about the guy from Rolling Stone is going to be at The Aquarium or something next week sometime. I could have went tonight, I was in the area. I was just too tired after the shoot I did :/

valerie must have a better appreciation for the arts than we do.

we were at vine st last night and just felt so-so about. there were maybe like 2 pictures we liked. not our thing i guess. we'll probably see a little more, but it just got bumped down priority wise.

it was still fun to get out, but we were expecting better images, dare i say "art?"

There is a lot to chose from. You just need to be more selective.

Tonight is the first Open Portfolio night at the Doubletree. There should be a large variety of work there.
