I don't do windows but some times Apple just goes too far in wanting control. This is one of those times.

Whelp, many folks agree with you. Unfortunately, that isn't workable at this time. Besides, my iPhone 3G doesn't have a user replaceable battery, and that does not seem to have killed sales. If it's a choice of not getting an iPad because the battery isn't user replaceable, or getting the unit anyway, count me among those not concerned about the battery issue. But, it does remain to be something to argue about!

All of the Microsofties in this thread trying to beat down the iPad -- you can pick up the new Microsoft Courier ... or not We'll see if it gets to market any time this year, or next.

With the pressure of iPad success, you can bet they'll try to jump to market with it, and it won't be ready.
