Pictures of a Piano - 03-13-2010, 01:04 PM

Well, I lied. There are no pictures of a piano on this thread.
Some of you know that I am also a piano technician.
I ran across this video and thought I'd share it with you.

The same message can be used for professional photography...

That was great! And you're spot on with the photography comparison.

Tom, I got my piano in finally. Still haven't gotten it tuned, but it looks great! Probably not going do what he does.

Makes me want to go change the sensor in my camera. I'm sure I can find some instructions on how to do it on the internet.

LOL! Although it may well apply to photographers as well, my first thought was people working on their own computers. I seriously here that all the time, "but this guy on the internet said if I remove this file using this utility that it would fix my problem, I just don't understand why it won't boot any more". It's everything I can do when they bring it in not to call them an idiot to their face. Some times I have to just walk out the back door and start laughing.

So the message is, I shouldn't be involved in photography if I'm an untrainable idiot...How come nobody told me this before I bought all this neat stuff?......Ben

It's a lot like marrying for the sex.

It turns out to be a lot cheaper and easier if you just hire a professional.
