Okay. I admit it has taken my years to figure out that Captain Tom is full of it.

On this forum, he has claimed to have expertise in so many areas over the years that I can't remember them all.
What areas do you remember he has claimed to have expertise?

My list includes Air Traffic Controller, Sea Captain, that he was shot down in Vietnam, Police Officer and Piano Tuner.

Actually, I think he was shot down in his boat over Vietnam because he was paying more attention to tuning his piano than where he was going.

I was shot down in a helicopter does that count.

Tom is a "Nice Guy" and if you live long enough you may experience numerous occupations and avocations too. Its not surprising he has a long list I know I do.
