Yeah, that's about what we are expecting here in Plano. I was planning to go camping at a nudist resort this weekend, but camping naked in thunderstorms, sub-freezing temperatures and high wind does not appeal to me.

You folks in the Panhandle get a lot more snow than we do here in the DFW area. We haven't seen any snow since that huge storm a few months ago. We are more likely to get sleet than snow, and we haven't had sleet, either.

I am not really complaining -- nobody has any crops in the ground so any moisture falling from the sky is a great thing. Should do wonders to help build the water table, and hopefully provide enough ground water/moisture to get the crops up when it comes to planting time.

Just had a busy outdoor shooting day planned tomorrow and can see that it is probably either going to be cancelled or miserable conditions.

On a seperate note -- my Mom seems to think that this year we will have a freeze in the last week of April first week of May. Wouldn't be the first time for that either.

Most of the plants that I have planted are in containers, so they are fairly mobile. I have a large Upside-Down Garden that I had to use my hand truck to move it into my garage. I finally got most of my seed potatoes in the ground and buried. I suppose they will be OK for a few days of freezing weather. I even brought in my grape vines. I have that one tomato plant still hanging from my basketball goal; I hope that bagging it in a large garbage bag keeps it safe.
