Bobby.... one of my many brothers had an old Camaro....this was mid 80's/late 80's - he picked up some old tires from a tractor, did some sort of weird lift kit thing.... I almost laughed myself silly.... he should have gotten a truck...

They have been for some time. I think 1994+. I know my wife's 2000 Z28 was. My Mustangs were both made in MI. The new 5.0L Stang will be a blast too. Forget the far too concept car styled, cheap interior Camaro. =)

I had a 1997 Monte Carlo that was assembled in Canada. Our 2004 Silverado and our 2010 Equinox were assembled there too.
I like the Camaro. It may be our next new car.

very true on the first part, all fourth gens and above were made there, so actually 93+, close though! and don't be hating just because its taken Ford 14 years to make a GT that can at least keep up with stock ls1 f-bodies (98+ for those that don't know)

GT maybe, but my Cobra has no problem and cost me about the same as an SS.

I did lose to a Camaro SS Anniversary Vert and the dragstrip, but he had a gutted car, crazy modified, and ran a 10.2. Only time I ever felt slow in that car! I only ran a 12.3 that pass.

i lost by a bumper to a buddies pullied/midpipe/catback 04 (440rwhp) back when i just had a lid and catback. stock for stock the 03/04's were a drivers race with ls1 fbodies, and of course as you know they respond extremely well to simple bolt ons like pullies, but at the same time they are heavy as hell and need a good bit of extra HP to pull on the lighter f-bodies. same reason why now with full exhaust/suspension and a couple other bolt ons i can pull on the 425HP 2010 SS's, because they are heavy turds too, lol

edit: I jsut seen you were from dickinson, what color is your cobra? my Z is red with a cowl hood and black wheels, stands out pretty well, haha

Yup. I had a Firebird Formula for a while. I always thought it was funny that a "classic" American muscle car was made in Canada. I really also wanted to get some personalized plates. I wanted "SLO LT1" heh.
