Ugh comp problems

This really bites. Every time I try and work in LR, my computer (desktop!) overheats!! I have a wedding to edit! Sorry, just venting. I'm so sick of computer problem. I was running a check on the temperature, and saw it go way up whenever I started editing, and no, it's not because I was editing some "hot" images LOL! I really don't want to have to buy another comp!

Maybe you could replace the fan or clean out the dust inside if it is a desktop.

Yeah, it's a desktop, and that's my next steip, dusting out the inside. Hopefully, that will work.

Drop it buy....I fix these things and I probably could get you running like new.

I work at the Galleria area and live in Keller. PM/Facebook me. You might need a new cooler (20-40$ at Fry's) but a cool CPU is a more efficient one. There is a compound that is between the cooler and CPU that gets old and cracks thus killing the heat transfer off the CPU, a simple reapplication sometimes fixes it all together.

Lol, he's already my good friend for life since he recommended his dad for my taxes! His dad is awesome! Guess since I won't have a comp tomorrow, I should start on all those figures for him!
