I read online an old trick is to swipe it on some jeans 20 times.

Basically it's like the old straight blade against leather type thing and it will increase the lenght of time needed to replace.

Anyone care to confirm?

Thanks a lot!!! I was trying this on a pair of my wife's jeans when she walked up and asked what the heck I was doing. Don't ask me why, but the first thing that came to my mind was " I'm shaving hairs." Now I have another question for you, does a steak really reduce the swelling around an eye?
