My Mom, sister, aunts and uncles are all friended on my Facebook page, and I feel about the same towards Facebook as Stan. I try to ignore it as much as I can. I even have on my profile that I hate social networking sites.

After my mom, current professors, some past teachers & mentors added me, I pretty much stopped commenting or doing updates because I feel every opinion I have or everything I do will come back to get me eventually.

That was a pretty funny episode.

After a long stint, I finally subsided and got on faceblah, but I refuse to accept any "friend" that I don't already know.

All this friend of a friend of a friend BS is not my gig nor am I into the contest to see what's the most friends I can rack up. Just don't see the point there.

I use it to keep in touch with actual friends, not cyber-friends.

And good luck to any previous teacher/classmates/left-field family finding me on there unless they know my alias.
My own wife couldn't find me But yes, I did eventually add her as a friend

Is it wrong that I had friends commenting on the episode on FB WHILE the episode about FB was playing? The show was hilarious!

I'll confess I love Facebook and I have made some actual, real, live friends from "friends of friends." I was in Tulsa two weeks ago and met a "virtual friend" I had been introduced to on FB by my college roommate. We ended up having a 4 hour lunch we were having so much fun talking and had so much in common.
