With her shoes in her hand, a woman wades across the Wal-Mart parking lot at Fourth Street and Frankford Avenue on Friday afternoon. Heavy, consistent rains caused the retention pond near the store to flood the parking lot and streets around it.

I used to work at the Avalanche-Journal, too, but happiness is the A-J in your rearview mirror. I'd say the comp is a little off because the sign at the cart corral is growing out of her head. And the photog didn't get her name for the cutline? Never woulda gotten away with that back in my day!
