Not to mention the 'wtf' expressions of the animals caught on the pictures.

That is really cool, the beetle cam looks like it has it's own personality.

The lion shot is my favorite.

You could build your own... Buy a Traxxas emaxx:
TowerHobbies.com | Traxxas E-Maxx Brushed 2.4GHz RTR

You can put in a slower motor so it doesn't speed up on the animals and freak them out. Then, just buy some aluminum brackets to mount your camera and flash! I think the most expensive part of the project would be the travel to Africa.
