Denver made the best first round pick since Ryan Leaf.

EXTREMELY happy with the boys pick, hes a stud and with a bozo like Roy Williams we needed a we badly. A++++ so far I like the Texans pick too. A strange draft so far only 7 skilled off players.
Steve LOL great comparison

surprised with some of the picks, the Niners got 2 offensive lineman, and that's gonna help out a lot.

If there is a draft, someone should shut the door.

trust me, being a Niners fan in Texas, let alone Houston, is rough...so I have to do a lot of reading on some of the things. The line was pretty bad, but both of these kids should be great. Davis can apparently play both sides of the line, and should help shore up the line by playing opposite of Joe Staley. The other guard we picked up is Somoan...well it reminds me of the days of Jesse Sapolu, and everyone remembers what a hoss he was. He's apparently a pretty nasty smash mouth guy and that's gonna help open up some huge holes for Frank Gore and better yet keep Alex Smith on his feet so he can throw to Crabtree.

Not sure what all the hype is about Earl Thomas! Did they not scout UT? Seems like wrapping up when you tackle would be a prerequisite to the NFL?

I was happy with Denver's first pick but I'm still puzzled why they took Tebow....

a lot of DB's don't wrap up anymore, they just hit and hope that it causes the player to go the ground. Some of your more "popular" or "bigger" DB's do this constantly. Linebackers is a different story.

Tebow was a shock to a lot of people, here's a guy who should've been a 2nd rounder if he was lucky and somehow a team trades UP to get him...WTF!!! Add in that Denver drafted a WR known for deep routes, and has WR's designed for deep routes, why add a 3rd QB who can't throw a deep ball?

2nd? A lot of the non-ESPN cronies had him late 3rd 4th and some even 5th. This is not a QB or really a skilled position draft. There is a reason Tebow stayed 1 more year and it was not to win another National Championship.

Cowboys are going to get burned....Maybe in the right system Dez can be spoon fed like he was at OSU, but he is 100% knucklehead, football stupid, poor attitude, no character. Maybe 3-5 years he will grow up and learn that there is more to life then putting his shoes on...wait he does not know that.

Biggest surprise for me was the almighty Pete Carroll... takes a different safety over his own guy from USC. I am a die hard Texas fan so I like to see Thomas picked but wish it was for another team where he had a chance.
