Cool Interesting story on the news about the old Texas Stadium site - 05-10-2010, 10:59 AM

Local fire departments and search and rescue teams have been using the debris field to test out their skills on safely entering and extracting things from the rubble. All that concrete and rebar gives them a great challenge that would be very hard to replicate at their training facilities so they can get an idea on what a major S+R event say at a high rise collapse may be like. I guess they must have been even having scent packs distributed, or if they thought in advance they may have placed them into the stadium before the blast, so that they are working rescue dogs over the site also.

That's some smart thinking.
