I heard it was very good and all the reviews were great. Don't have hbo and not paying for it so I will eventually get to see it online or when it appears on tv.

I watched the whole series.... The first few episodes were so-so, but I think that I felt that way because I was still learning/meeting the characters. By the end of the last episode, I was holding back the tears. Some very powerful images and stories that haven't been told nearly as much as the European battles, but I digress.

favorite character: Cpl. Merriell "Snafu" Shelton.

I am so mad at myself. I set the DVR to record every episode. Once episode 10 was finished, I was going to take 1 day to watch them all again. Only till after recording episode 8 did I notice that the DVR was set to keep only 5 episodes. GRRRRR!!!

I am way behind on TiVO, so I have several episodes to catch up on. We have enjoyed it alot and especially because my dad served in the Pacific Theater in WWII. He has not seen it, but I think we will save what we have TiVO'd for him to watch.

I like BOB better, from stories, characters to battle scenes. Definitely not buying BR version of the Pacific.

I thought it was good, but the beginning did sort of throw me off as we learned the characters. BOB made for a better "storyline" but there was some history that I did not know about... especially Pelileu (sp?) as I had no idea how bad it was....

I liked it, but still have the final episode waiting on dvr... One thing I didn't like is that all the characters looked too much alike. I could only make sense of three guys the whole time. And there were a lot more scenes that were way too dark, making it even harder to tell who was who. But it was still worth watching. I'll watch the final after I watch tonight's Lost on dvr.

I've only seen the first 4 episodes and wasn't to impressed with it. I like Band of Brothers way better. But I will finish watching the series this weekend.
