I am scared to ask! Rich did this really happen? The visual is too much.
Vodka in your eye I bet this only happens once.
Vodka is an acid with a PH of about 6.o. Normal eye ph is 7.0-7.3 which results in a chemical burn of the eye and possibly the cornea. since it is an acid the damage is not as severe as it would be if it were a base solution. Most of the damage would be limited to the front of the eye. Since the acid solution is fairly close to normal ph it would hurt like hell. treatment would involve placing a hard morgan lense within the eye lid and irrigating with normal saline until the eye ph returns to 7.0. this would take at least 1 if not 2 liters of room tempurature saline and would take about 2 hours and costs alot insured or not. Not to mention the pain involved and the possibility of cataracts later and scaring of the cornea.
I remember in my early college days it was cool to set your flatus on fire with a lighter.
