I'm bias since I was there to see STS-131 go up in person but still, I'm grateful NASA let photographers have the access and time needed to create this masterpiece of one of the greatest vehicles ever created.

That was really cool + always wondered who they setup for a launch. Did I hear the shuttle program is over - or is it - just 1 shuttle being retired.

I cannot even begin to imagine how large that hanger is that they move the shuttle around in? And it just hit me that the whole of the launch pad system for the shuttle will have to be completely and totally rebuilt for what ever is coming next. No wonder the cost of the program is so high. Amazing all the infrastucture that goes into the space program.

But that video was an incredible work!

The final assembly is in VAB. It was built for the Apollo program and is one of the largest buildings in the world. Don't expect much to be re built for what comes next. The shuttle system is not near the size of the Saturn 5.

The only one that comes close is the NIne inch nails video. "You can have it all" I think is the title.

Very cool... set-up my 40D tethered to my laptop for a murder-mystery party awhile back... shot every 20 seconds over a period of 6-7 hours, then put the whole thing together in MovieMaker with some background music. The whole party runs about 4 minutes. It's a great way to re-live events.
