I'm in almost exactly the same situation. Hopefully if you had kids, they are all old enough to not be a part of the separation agreement.

The hardest part so far has been the new friend network. It's really hard to find people who like to hear honesty, so you are going to have a hard time there, but in the end, your friends will really be friends.

Best of luck. It's not easy, but if my friends and family are right, you'll probably be happier and healthier a year from today.

PS Maybe we should start a separated/divorced meetup group for this board. Not a Meat & Grope, but a friendly happy hour or lingerie shoot. Maybe both.

1- there was no seperation agreement except I agreed not to shoot her and her new lover.
2- Most of my "friends over the past 13 yrs were really her friends. I'm working on establishing my own network now.
2- Didn't I already do two ? Oh well, meat and grope sounds good.
3- I hope it's obvious from all of my replies that I am coping well and have kept my sense of humor. I am the most relilient person I've ever met.
