Anyone here ever do any kayaking in the northern part of the lake? I am looking for an area that would offer some good photo ops from the water. A good place to put in that isnt too far away from the less populated areas. --------------------------- With no risk, comes no reward... |

How about Cagle Recreational Area, anyone been there? I have been to the Double Lake Recreational Area lots, but never the Cagle one. --------------------------- With no risk, comes no reward... |

Cagle is nice. We have camped there a couple of times, and the boat ramp is not that busy. |

Their website says the boat ramp and dock are closed until later this year for repairs. I am guessing that wouldnt be a real issue with kayaks as mine only weigh around 35 pounds and can just be launched from the shore. --------------------------- With no risk, comes no reward... |
