Probably no side airbags. Sense no damage to front end, the front airbag wouldn't deploy.

Exactly right. No front end impact so no air bags. This was an older Camaro so no side airbags. I was surprised at the lack of any metal on the car. Doors and roof were fiberglass, front fenders were plastic, hood was aluminum and back quarter panels were the only thing made of sheet metal. They have used every recycled product they could on this car.

The driver had an injury to her left arm/shoulder only. She is very fortunate that she didn't hit her head on the tree - it would have caused instant death.
