Ok, here's the deal. i have been doing a garage renovation. Nothing really expensive, just want to get organized. I am looking for shelving that can be screwed to the wall studs, etc. I dont want anything that goes down to the floor, so just shelves that can hold a decent amount of weight, Probably the heaviest items will be like 5 quart container of oil, 1 liter of Lucas, etc. Mostly want to use for my auto stuff. Maybe even so tools. Also, I have all 4 walls to "decorate" so longer shelves wouldn't be out of the question.

I am trying to make it to the store this weekend while all the sales are going on.

Thanks for the help in advance.

or

Hey Sonny! That looks really nice. The shelves are 11 each as well (4' x 16"). I may go down there to check out the other item that can go with these. Also not included are the uprights, but hey, they look like you would only need a few sets of 3.

I like these a lot...

Any other suggestions?

I have one more, but don't laugh at me.

Find a Container Store near you and check out their Elfa Systems. They have ALL kinds of cool shelving system and accessories. If you don't like the kits they sell, then they'll build you a custom one just to fit your needs. Their in-store customer service is GREAT!

***warning - they can get expensive...FAST***

Thanks Sonny and Rob. I went to Home Depot today and looked at the rubber maid item discussed here. I walked around a little and stumbled upon some shelves that looked like they were the EXACT same thing (different color, NICKEL) They were made by ClosetMAID and were about $1-2 less per item...Let's see, 9 brackets, 3 tracks, and 3 shelves = $15 savings, at least. The tracks and shelves were both 4' in height and length respectively and the brackets were 16" like the ones in your link.

It came out to a little less than $115 so not too bad. If I really like them I will buy another set for the Laundry stuff...

This is going to save me so much room!! Thanks again
