This astonishingly unnerving photograph was posted today on the Flickr.com feed of the Guatemalan goverment and shows a seemingly bottomless sinkhole that opened up on Sunday in Guatemala City as a swath of Central America was drenched by tropical storm Agatha.

that looks very manmade.
perfectly round and only at the intersection. There is more to this than is being said. This looks more like a failed civil engineering project than a natural occurance, like possibly an infrastructure/under street sewage system failure or something

It is 330 feet deep. You could stack 2 statue of liberties foot to torch and the torch of the top one would still be in the hole.

In reading a few of the links in the article, (the one on sinkholes in Florida) it basically says that water and limestone are a bad combination. From the very uniform size of the circle plus the combination of the depth, it would appear that this is a combination of a naturally occuring underground cavern combined with a failed man made structure of some sort.
At 330 feet -- how in the heck do you fix a hole like this?

That's what I would want if it were in my back yard, the mosquitos are bad this year.

I have an idea! How about they build a similar structure like the Grand Canyon Skywalk over the sink hole and charge admission.
OK, nobody take my idea until I pitch it to the "mayor" of Guatemala City.
