OK, what is up with some people who have to slather on the cologne or perfume before they go out for a power walk or jog outside? Really it's almost 80 degrees in the morning right now and when I come up on these people on my morning (walk/run) I just about choke! Yeah I'm trying to knock some fat off my bod so am out doing a 3+ miles loop-part walk part run right now- to just be a bit healthier but everyday this past week I run into one or more of these "stinkers" on the trail/park.
So WHAT'S UP?
Btw these are not people heading right off to work, if they did they would still stink since it has been about 78-80 each morning with the dew point in the mid to upper 60's.

We have a friend like that, she bathes in perfume no matter where she is going and it is especially bad when she is at the gym. Not sure why people do that.

It makes everyone else back off... and they get more room to be alone and work out in peace. Some of us don't want to talk to people when we exercise.
Maybe I'll have to try it... :)

They think they're drowning their funk with a more 'pleasant' odor. It just combines the two to make a mutant funk that you can taste on the air. It's awful.

Because they think if it smells good to them, it smells good to everyone else too!

That was my point exactly. What smells good to one is highly subjective. I like floral scents, but other people sometimes find them too sweet. Likewise, I'm not crazy about spicy scents, but others love them. I make candles, so I'm highly aware that tastes differ.

Oh it is WORSE inside but in this case I was talking about the fools OUTSIDE who douse their hides with these noxious liquids and then go spreading their funk out in nature.
Now I don't mind a nice perfume but use some discretion on HOW MUCH! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
