I've only downloaded 4.5 gb in 14 months of ownership of my iPhone. This is mainly due to AT&T's crappy network.

I actually just went and logged into my online account and looked at what I have used in the past 9 months... The most I ever used in a month was 440MB -- the least was 230MB. Looks like I can save 5 dollars a month with the new plans, but it doesn't look like I will be able to save 15. I guess if I set my home wireless hot spot back up, and then utilize that for home stuff, I might be able to get by with less, but seems too much of a hassle.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

I prefer using my home wireless anyway because it's faster than the 3G network.

This new plan will hurt users like myself.

I'm about 4 to 5 GB's a month.

I logged in to my account and checked my usage for the current billing cycle so far. I've used a little over 500mb and my billing cycle ends next week, so that's not bad. The other two iPhone users on my account have both used more than I have, but the new data charges will be per line, right? Just like the data plans we have now? We're still under the 2gb mark, but I'll stay grandfathered as long as I can.
