bad monitor is a good thing

well for a while anyway!! I bought a new desktop and have been used a montor that is terrible!! The good news is that I can't look at a photo and get all critical about the color and lighting. It makes me look at the contrast of lighting, where my eye goes in the photo, cropping, etc...I'm looking way more compostion issues than exposure issues. It's interesting how many things we really do critique in photos.
