I got lucky and got through, so mine will be here on the 24th. Yes! Looks like a nice device.

I also got a bumper, but am still looking at other cases. Any recommendations?

I got in after 4.5 hours of trying. Got my confirmation and everything. I'll be waiting on the FedEx delivery guy.

FedEx might be a bad place to work next Thursday...lol

By 2pm yesterday (trying to get in since early morning) I finally got on my phone and used the Apple Store App to reserve my 16g black iPhone 4 for pickup on the 24th. That worked 1-2-3. Don't know why that worked yet the real website had so many problems. But even before that, when I would occasionally get past the "checking your eligibility" screen, it would still only allow me to reserve it for pickup.

What a goatfark!

Normally i could have waited, but I have an original 3G phone and the screen is all messed up with leaking liquid crystal. I can only see half the keyboard! I've been dying for a new phone for months and held out for the new one.

Easy there. If you're going to be negative you might as well not even post. I want to nip this in the bud before it gets out of hand. Just wait til June 24. This place is going to be crazy.

No negativity intended nor implied Sonny, I have an iPhone 3G myself, but I don't see the needs to wait in line or get a pre-order in.

All I've seen in the last few days on the news was about the iPhone pre-order and don't really understand the hype. Now if it's a new camera body or lens that I need, then it's a different story

I was that way about getting my EVO 4 from sprint. I'ts a great thing if you are a gadget kind of guy.

Now I'm just trying to decide if I still need my 64gb ITouch. Probably keep it so my battery doesn't get run down.

I went into the store around 2pm, waited for ~10 minutes, and pre-ordered 2 of them. I was in and out of there in a total of 40 minutes.

I got an email from Apple last night stating mine will be delivered a day early, tomorrow.

In reading, apparently this is an effort to lighten the load on AT&T's activation servers, since there were more orders than expected. The in-store pickups are still scheduled for the 24th.

You lucky dawg! I checked my email and nothing. I did the check email from the pre-order receipt. After logging on to AT&T's website it said my order has been shipped. *crosses fingers*

seems a lot of people are getting the emails about it being shipped, but it turns out they're all Apple purchases, not AT&T purchases. I had to go through the AT&T Premier site to get mine, and still nothing.

Yeah, definitely lucky. I started at 4:00 AM and didn't get through until 7:30 on the Apple site.
