At random, and because I'm terribly bored, I typed in 'dogphotography.com' to see where it would take me. (did the same with 'petphotography.com') I came upon Bev Sparks whom I think is out of the Seattle area. Upon clicking on her gallery, I find 5 or 6 pages of B&W dog photos. All are natural light, and all have a gritty, dirty, newspaper feel to them. I really enjoyed them, since they WEREN'T what I was expecting, and are so far from the norm. What do you think?
