What should I do before switching to iPhone 4?

My phone is scheduled to be delivered today. Do I need to do anything specific before switch phones?

Backup....Depending on how much crap you have on your phone.

backup and make sure all your contacts and such are on your home PC so that you won't be forced to manually enter them all.

all your apps and videos etc should all be there already, so just make sure to sync before plugging in your new phone.

If you have bought any apps from the iPhone, remember to "Transfer Purchases" from your iPhone to iTunes before you sync the old phone. I don't believe this is done automatically.

Of course, you can re-download them again if you miss this step, assuming you remember what you've purchased.

Backup your old phone in iTunes. When u plug in the new one, it will ask if you want to install it as a new iPhone or load a backup. Just load up the backup u just made and you're good to go! You will have to reset your voicemail, tho, I just found that out today. Other than that, transition is seamless.
