Doesn't bother me. My water bill is down and my grass has never looked greener.

Dallas has had rain for the last 3 out of 5 days-we are talking anywhere from 1/2 an inch up with each downpoor and there have been several downpoors each day! One in fact just went over!

It's JULY NOT MAY!

Green grass and cooler temp. Keep raining, and I've had to work out in it all week. But I'm not complaining.

Guess I better hope for some stoppage since I'll be on Lake Lewisville tomorrow. Rain today is good for fireworks.....tomorrow night, no bueno.

If you grew up in Texas in the 50's early 60's you would understand that a green lawn doesn't exist after July 4th unless it is around a play pool that the kids had out in the yard. What is this obsession with a green lawn all year long? I see it as a huge waste of water! Kids don't "play" outside anymore-at least not like they used to- so what is the real need for a bright green lawn?

Folks this ain't Michigan-it's TEXAS!

Rain is good. Come August, you will be complaining about hot and dry.
