I've been emailing back and forth with a NWS dude about how to get a better radar image of the GOM (can't be done). He sent me this LINK. If nothing else it shows how good our technology is. I checked the radar out of Cancun and it doesn't show any rainfall from the tropical doodad that's supposed to be down there.
