Please Drive Carefully WARNING....GRAPHIC DIFFICULT TO SEE! - 07-09-2010, 12:33 PM

Many of you may have already seen this on FB. Although it's not photography related, I thought it worthy to post the link as a reminder for all to Please Drive Carefully!

Not much else to say since the video speaks volumes!

Yeah, I don't need to see that. I was a volunteer fireman along a few miles of I-40. I've held dead and broken bodies from auto accidents. I'm naturally a depressant. I go through the nightmare of experiencing those and other scenarios every day.

Overly dramatic and too pixely to see anything anyway.
If they want to get their point across it needs to be in HD.
Looks like there is probably some good special effects.

Dennis, I viewed a short part without any problem.
It really makes one think of our own driving habits.
Are we as careful and cautious as we should be while behind the wheel?

The video was clear enough. Blood running down the windshield, children smashed by impact. I don't need to see this at all.

Some of the video isn't special effects ... unfortunately.

That is a very strong video and very graphic. I have seen several of those PSAs that are in that video compilation.

I've seen some of the traffic cam ones before.
The one where the car rolls down the street and over the top of somebody crossing the intersection... that person walked away. Amazingly they were in the exact right spot at the exact right time.

Well, at least one of those spots came from a gag reel, the famous pizza delivery gag reel that came out a few years ago.

haha, ya, like the "Third Rail" video when I was a kid.
All I remember is video of some kid's shoe laying by the tracks with smoke emanating from it.

One of the things that was responsible for me leaving trucking is that fact that in some of this accidents where a truck was involved, even if the truck was not moving down the road, being off on your log book by 15 minutes can still land you in trouble.
