Jim,
If a few minutes with Billy and me on Sunday got you that close, just imagine if we had spent the whole morning together!!!!
Then again, it may have been the few minutes with us that kept you from hitting all six.
I like to think about it the first way. I would have thought 5 numbers would have gotten you more that $2500, but that isn't too bad.

The only way I would even come close to getting five of the six numbers is to buy five tickets (one number per ticket), and even then I doubt it.

1. Match 6 (Jackpot Win!) Odds = 1:25,827,165
2. Match 5 Odds = 1:89,678
3. Match 4 Odds = 1:1,526
4. Match 3 Odds = 1:75

The payout is based on a formula, and the number of people who hit five out of six is much greater than six out of six. Personally, I think it would be nice if they raised the payout for people who got none of the six numbers correct!!!

I've had all six numbers before, just never on the same ticket......

This lady won 4 times. Woman Hits Lotto Jackpot —for 4th Time - And she's not even a resident of the state where she won
I would be more like the old story of a lady who played the lotto in two states every week. One week she had the correct numbers for both lottos, but lost because the numbers were each for the others drawing.
