Why have ads all of the sudden started showing up IN the threads? Do we honestly have to have ads EVERYWHERE?

I do understand the economics of the situation, and I support Abel's decision to seek additional forms of revenue.

I don't mind the Google adds so much, but the Vibrant adds really are annoying. I find that seeing random key words highlighted and underlined subtly changes the way I read the text. My mind insists on putting emphasis on those words...

Oh well, at least it isn't as bad as some other forums.

Luckily the Vibrant ones arent as abundant as they could be... lol.

And just so you guys are aware I myself browse the forum as a non premium member so that i can see the forum as registered members see it. if it would be annoying for me i would simply not implement it on the rest of the group...

fortunately for me at work websense blocks most ads...but the break in the threads is kind of annoying. I'd rather have it at the top of the page rather than inserted in between posts. That's just my opinion though.

Sorry Abel, I sent you a PM asking about this exact piece of software before posting about it but you didn't reply. :(

Abel,
I don't want the use of Ad Block to take $$$ out of your pocket. Is revenue generated by clicking or rolling over the ads or by just allowing them to be placed by Google and Vibrant? In any case, I was going to upgrade to a premium membership anyway. Thanks for TPF. : )
