Next!
You know nothing about me and how "rich" I am or am not. And if you are going to quote me at least have the decency to quote the next sentence that I suppose you were too much of a “slacker” to read.

So to play a little fair I’ll repeat the whole thing for you to read again. That is if your ADD will let you. I take the ADD for granted since you couldn’t even seem to make it through a whole paragraph (assuming you know what a paragraph is).

"A degree doesn't guarantee anything to anybody other than you had the discipline to stick with something to the end. There are degrees that teach you basic principles and theory but not much practical experience, at least not the same as working in that field gets you. Unfortunately unless you go the route I did (20 years Air Force) you are unlikely to get that experience in that field and no employer has anything to judge you on other than your academic career."

I'm starting to understand about you a little more now though.

Like the budget, we need to do something about it, or disaster looms. But, someone is always there to tell us why we can't change it.
You're sweating the college/university system, try the required years of school before you start telling people to stop wasting their money on college. Frankly I didn't actually learn anything until I started paying for school because oddly enough when people see you as a customer that puts food in their mouths they tend to work harder. Unlike our broken k-12 systems where students are more like cattle and less like the important future of our country they are.

That's not an assumption either, it's a known fact that our k-12 systems under perform domestically and internationally while our university's in many aspects are some of the best in the world. Odd how that is huh? :)

Here is Forbes' list of richest Texans. You aren't on it:

Forbes: The World's Richest People: Texas

Correct Internet etiquette is to quote only the portion to which one is replying.

You are pouting.

You associate fairness with Socialism, and find both disagreeable to you. Your only recourse when injured is to lash out with petty insults. I don't believe that you are inclined to work for a better system.

"Required years of school" for what? What are you talking about?

Oh, that's unfortunate. I learned half of my college Physics while I was in high school. I also learned a bit of Astronomy and how to navigate and fly a Cessna while I was in high school. I learned quite a bit about cytology, too, while I was in high school.

My experience is that high school students can get away with cruising through school, and so many of them do. Many students also cruise through college, but its a little harder there than in high school.
