I hope that tech is ready to mature quickly as it looks like it could significantly affect power needs in a city, not to mention it's potential for large greenhouses.

Almost sounds too good to be true doesn't it. Since current technology is only about 20% efficient a 10 fold increase seems unlikely. Even if they did succeed in out performing current solar cells technology just imagine the batteries we'd all have to have just to store the energy. These won't provide us with the energy we currently use let alone what we will need in the future. Right now the only technology that could meet our energy needs in the future is nuclear. Until fusion works.

after a $550.00 electric bill this month. Cant wait to see Sept 1st bill after all these days +100 degrees. It would be nice to decrease that some.
