Getting Back Into It - 08-12-2010, 10:41 PM

I quit my job earlier this year and now the kiddos are going back to school...finally able to get some ME time back

Working full time, college courses along with taking care of the family severely limited my time for any hobbies. I am sure many of you can relate. Being able to enjoy photography again is really exciting and something I have been looking forward to for a very long time.

Not really sure where to ask but... I hope there may be some locals (Austin to San Antonio) who would be interested in some company on some shooting expeditions during the morning hours/day. Not an official meetup thing necessarily - but I enjoy those too. My interests are vast - landscape, macro, nature, etc.

August is a hot month but no better time than the present to make it happen!

Awesome. Nothing like photography to offset the reality of life. Welcome back

Thank you, Michael. I am trying to decide on a location to visit next week. Would really like to practice slowing down water.

While scanning the forums I have noticed more and more mention of needing a permit especially in San Antonio. Is there a list of known places that require a permit?
