Just got back from camping in Concan and happened to be there the week of the shower. We watched the sky on the night before, the night of, and the night after. It certainly peaked the night of. It wasn't raining fireworks like I had imagined. Maybe 1 meteor every 2 minutes or less. Some faint, some spectacular and bright. There were a few that tore across the sky nice and slow. It was amazing. We had perfect weather over there. Couldn't have been better. |

Saw a couple last night out in the country west of Brownwood... one was a streak that shot across the sky.. beautiful... the other was an exploding bolide type.. that Heather and I saw on the way back from a wedding. |
