call me crazy, but it seems that the mid atlantic ocean would be a better spot for large consistent color. I know you wouldn't want a direct white bal off of the blue, but it would seem to be much less susceptible to color shift than the sand that they intend to use.

In the example that they posted, there seemed to be a distinct blue cast in parts of the sand that would definitely skew the results.
