Magnum Collection Sold to Michael Dell and Housed in the Harry Ransom Center at UT - 08-19-2010, 01:45 PM

Entire Archive of Press Prints were sold in February (over 180,000 prints)
This includes some of the most famous/powerful/memorable Photojournalism shots of the recent past.

I looked for a thread but couldn't find one. I saw this story over at NPR and was wondering if anyone had been and viewed some of these prints. I was thinking of making a trip up there for a day.

The collection will be in Austin for 5 years.

For anyone interested there is a process that needs to fulfilled before viewing can occur. Here is the link to the Harry Ransom Center..

I missed the story, but that would definitely be a reason to get to Austin and to the Ransom Center. They always have the most interesting stuff there. Love to visit it.

I wasn't trying to bust your chops -- I think this deserves as much attention as it can get.

Just thought it was funny that both you and I were in on the other thread as well.
