Does anyone in the Houston area foster dogs?

I participate on a border collie rescue forum and right now they have a number of border collie/border collie mixes in the Houston area that they can't pull from the various city shelters because they have no foster homes to put them in. So, I just thought I'd throw it out here in case anyone has any interest in being a foster home to a sweet pup waiting to find his/her forever home (or if anyone out there wants to BE that forever home). I can put you in touch with the folks who run the rescue.

Sorry. The only things I can offer care for in my apartment is photographic hardware. Does your 5D need a good home?

It may think it needs a foster home. Been so busy since my parents "temporarily" moved in with us back in April that it is feeling pretty neglected. However, I see light at the end of the tunnel. Supposed to close on a cute little garden home for them in September and hopefully, have some cosmetic updating done by early October so they can get moved. I hope my reclaim some hobby time on weekends then.

Haha, yes, the hobby and the hubby are, at times, incompatible and both are probably feeling neglected about now. One definitely deserves a medal for tolerating his in-laws being house guests for up to 6 months. Hmmm, sounds like I need to plan a trip and get away!
