Cool Just had one of the THROW BACK DP'S - 08-21-2010, 12:24 PM

Interesting that the can says made with "real sugar" and not "real pure cane sugar", not quite like the taste of a Dublin DP but a heck of a lot better than a "corn fructose DP". May have to grab a few more 12 packs for stock up.

Where'd you find it? I've been waiting for them to show up at albertson's for a while now. It was announced a couple months ago that the cans would be sold in the metroplex through the summer, but I haven't seen them yet.

Bought it at Tom Thumb, they only had a few 12 packs on display-so you may need to ask your store if they are in the "back".

The throw back Dew's were out earlier, and, yes, surprisingly better than the current drivel.

We're trying to collect all six cans but have only found three of them so far. Very hard to find up here in Oklahoma!

I am hooked on the throwback pepsi and Mt Dew. I still have cases from the last time I stocked up.

My local HEB on 646 had the tb Dr Pepper.

I bought some Dublin DP (in bottles) in Grapevine a few months ago - been hooked ever since!
Can't beat the original!

I bought the pepsi and mtn dew back when they first came out. I liked the pepsi a lot, but hated the dew... of course, I never liked regular dew, so no surprise there.

Market Street in Frisco had the "real sugar" DP in both cans and bottles a few weeks ago.

The bottles have been easy to find for a few years now. I'm really hoping to find the cans at a real good price. Target had DP on sale, but it was all corn syrup cans.

There's a place here in Austin that has that in the fountain drink dispenser!

Tom Thumb (w their card) had them for $2.99 when I bought 4 packs at once! Same price as hfcs DP. Yeah the bottles ave been around but who wants to pay $5+ for 6 12oz bottles?

If your in Waco you could get Dublin DP in cans for several years now at the DP museum store (canner in Temple has been making it for Dublin-slightly different formulae than throw back since they do use pure can sugar).
