Water cooler repair - 08-22-2010, 11:56 AM

Any fridge mechanics here that can advise me on cooler repair?
The little black thing shows no resistence across the cantacts
and the temperature thingy shows no resistence through the temperature adjustment range. I dislike buying parts to fix something on the hope that the particular part replaced is the issue. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
Thank you
hank

Just a thought - you might have to drop the end of the thermocouple into some ice water in order for the adjustment on thermostat to be in a working range.

Thanks Brian, I put it in the freezer and I get a pop when it changes and full resistence.
