Movie Trailers - 08-29-2010, 01:53 AM

If you had to pick one movie throughout cinematic history where the trailer didn't match the movie at all, which movie/trailer combination would you pick

I am heading back to college and one of the courses we get to remake the movie trailer of an existing movie with the idea being to make the trailer better than what was put out.

We will learn more about the project as the class progresses, but we need to have an idea of what movie we are going to use fairly soon.

I have a few ideas, but would love to get some input as well

I can't think of one now, but most trailers from the 80's (or earlier) really suck.
Try redoing any of those and I bet it would be better than the original trailer.

Most of the ones I think of the trailer was good but the movie sucked.

There was one recently that the trailer made look like a comedy, but it wasn't. I'll have to try and think of which movie that was.
