Beavers Bend Lodging

Planning to go there for a weekend soon.
Which part is a good place to stay? Near the lake or away from it?
Log cabin or regular hotel?
One thing i see on the websites is that log cabins are mostly secluded with nothing around. Is that safe? We are not going with friends, just the family.

When I went to Beavers Bend I did the real camping in tents and all. Pretty nice place and enjoyed my time. I don't know where the cabins are but I would have to think they are safe, especially since I found the tent camping areas to be safe.

Last time we went up there we rented from Beavers Bend Cabins - Rental Cabins near Beavers Bend State Park and enjoyed it.

Cabins at Beavers Bend Broken Bow Lake cabin rentals

Highly recommended. Stayed there a number of times. Great people. Not on the lake but close. They have even used a few of my pictures in the past. Talimena senic drive is less than an hour away from Beaver's Bend and a great day trip.
